Expecting Families & Newborns
How do I schedule my newborn’s first appointment? What do I need to bring with me to this appointment?
- No pre-registration needed! Once you are discharged from the hospital, call our office to get your first appointment scheduled. Just be sure to bring your insurance card!
Referrals & Specialists
How do I get a referral for specialty care?
- Before calling to schedule an appointment, check with your insurance company to find out if a referral is required, and to determine “in-network” benefits.
- If a referral is required, be sure to call our office 1 week in advance to allow time for or Referral Team to send medical records and request prior authorization if needed.
- If the specialist we recommend is not participating in your insurance network, to avoid “out-of-pocket” expense, please consider a doctor recommended by your insurance.
